Legacy

I’ll see you in the sea, and under that fig tree in Zahara, in the faces of the people who - it’s hard to imagine - love you as much as I do. Always will. We’ll be in bars, on ferry decks, on the Downs, belting out Elvis on the Île de Ré; I’ll see you in everything good, everywhere - because Love is omnipresent, isn’t it? You said it yourself, in words and actions; besides, I feel it as I always have - it’s all that I know, dad, father, friend, benign, beautiful spirit that you are. See you again? How could I? I’m seeing you now, as I always have. Because love defies time and space, doesn’t it? I see you in all that is beautiful, dad. I did yesterday, I do this morning and I always will. Thank you.

Eating gas

You could eat the lava, it was all over the floor. And gas! It tasted like porridge. We lived in a tower, when Lulu was still in mummy's tummy, and all around outside there were volcanoes.
